The following materials have been provided to all NWS WES training focal points:
- WES9.0 Install DVD (Shipped Feb 7th, 2009)
- contains:
- WES9.0 Install DVD (uses OB9.0)
- OB9.0 WES-Based Training Install DVD (Shipped Mar 6th, 2009)
- contains:
- two AWIPS cases with six total training modules (Hydro Parts 1-4, Feature Following Zoom, and Panel Combo Rotate and All Panel Sample)
- OB9 Localizations Update DVD (Shipped Mar 6th, 2009)
- contains:
- OB9.0 Localizations Update DVD for WDTB cases
- note this is only the localizations, and you need to have the case/training installed
- Also note that if you did not take the previous AWIPS delta training when it was released, issues can arise if you attempt to take build specific WES-based AWIPS delta training (e.g. OB8.2 FSI) using a newer version of AWIPS (e.g. OB9). You may need to take more than one AWIPS delta training module (e.g. FSI8.3) to catch up.
OB9 Training WES Focal Point Instructions:
- take WES9.0 Overview training in LMS (~15 min)
- install WES9.0
- install OB9.0 WES-Based Training
- to run WES9 on any pre-existing WDTB courses install the OB9 Localizations Update DVD which will update the localizations to OB9
